Those who are a part of STIX Diabetes Programs care deeply about the impact a chronic disease like diabetes has on a child's psyche. They also understand the power of education and community to empower them to rise above their illness and achieve their full potential in life. Our VOLUNTEERS work tirelessly to ensure that each child and family we serve can realize THE STIX WAY. We also care about each other deeply and understand that our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We respect boundaries and encourage self-care and rejuvenation so that our team can serve the needs of children and families with diabetes for countless years to come.

Auction Committee Volunteer

It's coming up! Help us get ready for our "Share the Experience" Dinner Auction at RWY 4 Events Center, on March 9, 2024. Please consider joining us for our auction committee meetings and become part of a fabulous team! The "Share the Experience" Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year, and it takes a lot of hands working behind the scenes to put on such a wonderful experience. That is why we need volunteers like you! Whether it's item procurement, setting up tables, or checking in guests on the day of the event, no job is too small!

Position Title: Admin Office Support   

STIX is 365! Staying connected with our STIX community year-round is very important to us. There is lots of work to do and our admin team can use some support and a few extra sets of hands.  The hours are flexible and we hope you can join us!

Summary of Duties:

  • Support admin team with year-round mailings and communication
  • Manage contact database
  • Help keep our website up to date with important program information
  • Support fundraising events throughout the year

Position Title: Merchandise Coordinator

Summary of Duties: 

  • Manage the relationship with our printer and designer
  • Create fun and unique merchandise designs
  • Support camps and coordinate delivery and shipment of items
  • Manage quarterly pop-up-shops for our STIX community
